Germany to build large plant in Kyrgyzstan

An agreement has been signed between Kyrgyzstan and Germany for the construction of a large concrete plant in Kyrgyzstan. On behalf of Kyrgyzstan, the agreement was signed by the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan, and from the German side, by NISBAU Anlagentechnik GmbH, reports Vesti.

The signing ceremony took place in Berlin with the participation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov during his official visit to Germany.

Objectives of the Project

The project aims to create new jobs, strengthen the construction sector, and attract additional investments to Kyrgyzstan's economy.

The collaboration with NISBAU Anlagentechnik GmbH in building the new concrete plant will:

Current Concrete Plants in Kyrgyzstan and Their Production Capacities

Kyrgyzstan already operates several major concrete production facilities, including:

  • Bishkek Concrete Plant: Located in Bishkek, it produces ready-mix concrete of various grades with a capacity of up to 100 m³ per hour.
  • Kyrgyz Beton LLC: Established in 2012, specializing in high-quality concrete mixtures.
  • Kum-Shagyl JSC: A reinforced concrete products factory in Bishkek, manufacturing floor slabs, sewer rings, foundation wall blocks, and more.
  • Kant Cement Plant JSC: The only cement manufacturer in northern Kyrgyzstan, meeting regional needs with its production capacity.

Future Developments

Next year, a Kyrgyz-German business forum is planned to attract German technologies. Additionally, President Japarov proposed the establishment of an energy-efficient technology center in Bishkek with German support during his visit to Germany.
