In Kazakhstan, under the implementation of the law “On the Return of Illegally Acquired Assets to the State,” funding for the construction of social facilities using returned funds continues, reports the press service of the Government of Kazakhstan.
The government has decided to allocate 7.8 billion tenge (approximately $16 million) for the construction of a special kindergarten for children with special needs in the city of Aktobe. The opening of the kindergarten will provide 300 special children with education and correctional assistance. The facility will be equipped with everything necessary for the comfort, development, and learning of preschoolers.
Currently, four special correctional kindergartens are operating in the region. The implementation of this project will create the necessary infrastructure and expand the development and educational opportunities for children with special needs.
Previously, decisions were made to fund projects such as the construction of a sports complex in the village of Zerenda in the Akmola region, a music school in the village of Temirlan in the Turkestan region, a sports complex for gifted young athletes in the city of Arkalyk, a rehabilitation center for children with musculoskeletal disorders in Astana, and a training center for people with special needs in Almaty.
