Kazakhstan increases crude oil exports to US

The State Revenue Committee of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Finance reported that exports of crude oil and gas condensate from the country to the United States increased 1.7 times by volume and 1.8 times by value from January to September 2024, Kursiv.kz reports.

According to the publication, 1.479 million tons of crude oil and gas condensate were exported to the United States, totaling $934.2 million. Overall, Kazakhstan increased its oil exports abroad by 0.7% over the nine months of 2024, reaching 53.8 million tons valued at $33.9 billion.

Kazakhstan’s primary oil buyers included Italy, the Netherlands, France, Greece, Romania, China, South Korea, and others. Meanwhile, oil exports to Uzbekistan increased by only 4.6%, amounting to 46.1 thousand tons for $19 million.

Kazakhstan's fuel oil exports decreased by 24.3% in volume and 26.4% in value. However, fuel oil exports to Uzbekistan rose by 16.6%, reaching 93.4 thousand tons for $26.2 million, a 47.1% increase.
