Kyrgyzstan cooperates with 22 Chinese partners in energy sector

Kyrgyzstan cooperates with 22 partners from China in the fields of green energy and the coal industry. This was announced during a meeting between Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Energy, Talaybek Ibraev, and the Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Liu Jianping, Akchabar.kg reports.

These projects have high potential for further infrastructure development and are strategically important for the long-term economic interests of both countries. Within the framework of cooperation, special attention is given to the implementation of innovative solutions, attracting investments, and creating sustainable mechanisms for collaboration.

During the discussion, the parties also addressed the strengthening of the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China in the energy sector. Minister Ibraev noted that Kyrgyz-Chinese relations have reached a historic level of cooperation, with particular emphasis on active engagement in green energy and the coal industry.

Chinese Ambassador Liu Jianping, in turn, highlighted the significance of the meeting and expressed readiness to further deepen the partnership. She assured that she would actively facilitate the accelerated implementation of signed agreements and oversee the activities of Chinese companies operating in Kyrgyzstan.
