In Kyrgyzstan, natural gas production has decreased by 3.1% since the beginning of the year over 8 months of 2024, reaching 20 million cubic meters, according to a report by the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee, Trend reports.
In addition, the country produced 200,000 tons of oil and gas condensate from January through August 2024, which is 0.4 percent less than in the same period last year.
Moreover, Kyrgyzstan extracted 2 million tons of hard and brown coal during the specified period, an increase of 1.8 percent over the same period in 2023.
Note that the volume of industrial products produced in the country from January through August 2024 amounted to more than 330 billion SOM (approximately $3.19 billion), an increase of 0.7 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
