Starting October 22, Tajikistan will launch a new Unified Electronic Insurance System, initiated by the National Bank of the country. According to the National Information Agency “Khovar,” the system aims to enhance transparency, ensure quality control, and protect the interests of vehicle owners and users of insurance services.
At the initial stage, some active insurance policies may temporarily not appear in the database. To address such cases, an official Telegram channel and a dedicated phone number have been established, allowing vehicle owners to send photos of their policies. The information will be forwarded to insurance companies and entered into the system within 10 days.
Until the database is fully updated, no fines will be imposed for missing data. The National Bank has urged citizens to verify their insurance policies and submit them if necessary.
