It is specified that the decision was made on the occasion of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha. In addition, all institutions in the country are obliged to assist women in securing the right to marry, inherit and other rights.

In November 2021, the Taliban banned several television shows, including those featuring women.

In March 2022, separate visits to parks were introduced in Kabul for men and women. Last May, the Taliban ordered female Afghan TV presenters and other women on screen to cover their faces while on air.
