Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Vepa Khadzhiev discussed with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Mariano Grossi the prospects for expanding cooperation, the Orient.tm portal reports.
In particular, during the meeting at the agency's headquarters in Vienna, the parties considered the possibilities of cooperation in the field of healthcare, food security and other areas.
The interlocutors stressed the importance of international instruments that are aimed at the safe use of nuclear science and technology for peaceful purposes, maintaining international peace and achieving the SDGs.
