Turkmenistan Discusses Expansion of Gas Export Routes with Global Gas Centre

On December 1, Turkmenistan’s Deputy Prime Minister for the fuel and energy sector, Batyr Amanov, held talks in Ashgabat with the Executive Director of the Global Gas Centre, Valérie Ducrot, Biznes Turkmenistan reports.

The meeting focused on prospects for expanding Turkmenistan’s gas export routes, as well as ensuring the security of gas supplies to global markets. The parties also exchanged views on developing regional energy cooperation aimed at strengthening supply stability, diversification, and building long-term partnerships.

The Turkmen side confirmed its readiness to deepen cooperation with international energy organisations.

The Global Gas Centre, headquartered in Geneva, is a non-profit platform for leaders and experts of the gas industry. The organisation promotes sustainable energy and advances cooperation in the field of natural gas.
