A new dental center equipped with modern digital medicine and artificial intelligence technologies is scheduled to open in Ashgabat in time for the professional holiday of healthcare workers. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov inspected the facility's readiness, Orient.tm reports.
The center will combine dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. The medical equipment is manufactured by leading companies in Germany, Japan, and the United States. The use of AI and 3D scanning will improve the accuracy of diagnostics, implantation, and complex surgical procedures.
The clinic will operate an electronic data storage system, provide online communication between departments, and exchange information with international medical institutions. The dental laboratory will accommodate 45 specialists and is equipped with CAD/CAM systems and 3D technologies.
The opening of the center demonstrates Turkmenistan's commitment to introducing digital technologies into the healthcare system. It is particularly important that the effectiveness of AI will depend not only on equipment but also on the qualifications of specialists, a point the president emphasized.
