Uzbekistan intends to receive 15 million foreign tourists and increase the export of tourism services to $4 billion in 2025. These tasks were set by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a meeting where he announced the goals for the further development of the tourism industry of Uzbekistan, according to the website of the President of the country.
In 2024, Uzbekistan received more than 10 million tourists, and the export of tourism services amounted to $3.5 billion. Despite these achievements, the authorities believe that the sector has significant potential for further growth.
