A delegation of more than 50 senior Kazakh officials and representatives of state-owned companies, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev, is visiting Israel, reported Trend, citing the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
The delegation includes deputy ministers and regional governors. The visit coincides with the 10th meeting of the Kazakhstan–Israel Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, which Madiyev co-chairs with Israeli minister Ze’ev Elkin.
Madiyev met Israeli President Isaac Herzog, to whom he passed on greetings from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar. They discussed implementing the agreements reached during Herzog’s visit to Kazakhstan in April 2026, as well as cooperation in artificial intelligence, innovation, water management, critical minerals and tourism.
Kazakhstan is inviting Israeli companies and startups to join its alem.ai platform and its Data Center Valley initiative. The delegation is also scheduled to meet the Israel Innovation Authority, the Israel Space Agency, the National AI Directorate and the National Cyber Directorate.
