Kazakhstan Increases Oil Transit to China and Uzbekistan to 10.2 mln tons

The volume of hydrocarbon deliveries through main oil pipelines by "KazTransOil" increased by 2% in 2024, reaching 44.8 million tons, reports Kazinform.

At the same time, the volume of oil supplied to domestic refineries (including Atyrau Oil Refinery, PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP, and Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant) in 2024 amounted to 16.712 million tons, which is 139,000 tons more than in 2023.

Kazakhstan's oil exports in 2024 totaled 17.2 million tons, reflecting a 4% increase compared to 2023. Meanwhile, transit through the "KazTransOil" main pipeline system to China and Uzbekistan reached 10.214 million tons, 70,000 tons more than in 2023.

The oil turnover through the "KazTransOil" main pipeline system in 2024 amounted to 35.526 billion ton-kilometers, which is 1.318 billion ton-kilometers or 4% more than in 2023.
