Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan intend to develop industrial cooperation

The Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, Daniyar Amangeldiev, held a meeting with the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan, Sherali Kabir, in Bishkek, reports Economist.kg.

During the meeting, the parties discussed promising directions for strengthening industrial cooperation, including metallurgy, light industry, machine engineering, as well as the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and the production of construction materials, according to information from the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan.

As a result of the negotiations, it was decided to create a joint working group to develop these areas. An agreement was also reached to activate the exchange of visits by official and business delegations, as well as to hold meetings between representatives of the business community of both countries to strengthen economic ties.
