President of Kyrgyzstan held talks with ruler of Dubai at World Government Summit

On the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai, Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov held a meeting with the Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and the Ruler of Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan informed.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to further deepen bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates, with a focus on trade and economic cooperation. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed confidence that President Japarov's visit to the UAE would contribute to a new stage of strengthening friendly relations between the countries.

President Sadyr Japarov emphasized the significance of the World Government Summit as an effective platform for exchanging experiences and discussing relevant issues of international cooperation. He also invited Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to make an official visit to Kyrgyzstan, underscoring the interest in further strengthening ties between the two countries.

President Japarov addressed the main panel of the World Summit and spoke about the transformations in the country under his leadership. He particularly highlighted the effectiveness of transitioning the country's governance system from parliamentary to presidential, providing specific examples. He also called on potential investors to contribute to Kyrgyzstan's economy and discussed the favorable conditions created for investors. Japarov also elaborated on the country's energy potential, noting that only 13% of Kyrgyzstan's total hydroenergy potential has been tapped.

The World Government Summit in Dubai is in its tenth edition, where heads of states and governments, leading policymakers, scientists, and figures from the arts and culture participate. Besides President Japarov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, also addressed the summit.
