The first meeting of special representatives of the neighboring countries of Afghanistan began in Tashkent, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reports.

Representatives of Uzbekistan, Iran, China, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan will discuss the current situation in Afghanistan, issues of interaction between the parties to resolve the situation in the country and establish long-term peace and stability.
