From January to October 2024, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover with Kazakhstan amounted to $3.4 billion, Trend.az reports.
Data from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency indicates a 2.9% decrease compared to the same period in 2023, when it totaled $3.5 billion. During this timeframe, Kazakhstan ranked among Uzbekistan's top three largest trading partners.
Uzbekistan’s exports to Kazakhstan reached $1.14 billion, a 1.7% decline compared to $1.16 billion in January–October 2023. Imports from Kazakhstan amounted to $2.2 billion, reflecting an 8.3% decrease from $2.4 billion in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's overall foreign trade turnover increased by 6.7% to $54.3 billion during January–October 2024, compared to $50.9 billion in the same period of 2023.
