The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty (Parliament) of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, outlined key directions for the country's economic development, emphasizing their importance for improving the social and living standards of the population, TDH reports.
Speaking at the Halk Maslahaty meeting, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that sustainable economic growth is a fundamental factor in the state's progress.
In his address, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted several main indicators of Turkmenistan's economic strength. These include: a high per capita income level, high labor productivity across all sectors of the economy, accelerated economic reforms, the development of human capital and scientific and technological progress, as well as the country’s competitiveness on the global stage.
The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty stressed that the primary task for Turkmenistan remains further socio-economic development and strengthening the country's international authority as a neutral state.
