The parties also discussed a new 1,574 MW power plant under construction on the Caspian Sea coast, which could boost the country's energy export potential.

The parties discussed a wide range of areas of bilateral cooperation, including transport, transit, oil and gas, chemical industries, and textiles. Particular attention was paid to the work of joint intergovernmental commissions on economic cooperation and logistics.

Among other priorities is the development of the Caspian Sea-Black Sea international transport corridor along the Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania route, which is seen as an important avenue for expanding trade and economic ties between the regions.

Turkmenistan also proposed holding a meeting of the Caspian littoral states in October 2026 at the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

In the humanitarian sphere, the parties noted the importance of cultural exchange, including holding Culture Days, exhibitions, and festivals, as well as implementing symbolic projects that strengthen the friendship between the two peoples.

They also reaffirmed their mutual support for international policy initiatives and their commitment to developing a strategic partnership between the two countries.
