Turkmenistan is leader in terms of affordability of diesel fuel in CIS

Turkmenistan ranks first in diesel fuel affordability among the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), according to the international news agency Kazinform, citing the Global Petrol Prices (GPP) portal.

In the updated global ranking, Turkmenistan is ranked 7th worldwide.

Currently, the price of diesel fuel in Turkmenistan is $0.286 per liter (around 140 tenge).

The cheapest diesel fuel in the world is in Venezuela at $0.004 per liter, while the most expensive is in Hong Kong, where it sells for $3.185 per liter.

High-quality oil and petrochemical products in Turkmenistan are produced by the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TKNPZ) of the state corporation Turkmennebit. The Turkmenbashi complex is one of the world’s leading oil refineries, and its products are exported to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
