BISHKEK - Construction continues on the Bishkek Arena, Kyrgyzstan's largest multifunctional stadium, in the southwest of the Kyrgyz capital. Designed to accommodate 51,000 spectators, the stadium is scheduled to open in August 2026.

The stadium is being built in accordance with FIFA standards and is intended to host international sporting events. In addition to sports infrastructure, the complex will include approximately 40,000 square meters of commercial space, including shops and representative offices for sports brands, the proceeds of which will be used for the facility's maintenance.

The project also includes 26 entrances, allowing the stands to be completely filled in approximately 15 minutes. The Bishkek Arena will be part of the development of the southern part of the capital and will expand Kyrgyzstan's capacity to host major international tournaments.

The stadium's official opening is expected to take place on August 31, Kyrgyzstan's Independence Day, and coincide with the opening of the 6th International Nomad Games. Representatives from over 100 countries intend to participate in the Games. The main events of the Games will take place in Issyk-Kul from September 1-6.
