The Supreme Court of Kazakhstan has returned a defense facility worth more than 5 billion tenge ($11 million) to the country's Ministry of Defense, reports Kazinform.
"The property complex, consisting of 10 warehouses, 2 administrative buildings, and 2 production workshops in Almaty with a total area of over 16,000 square meters, had been under the trust management of a private individual for 20 years," the statement said.
According to the agency, the facility is currently undergoing re-registration procedures. Once completed, the facility will be used for defense purposes.
It is also specified that 22 land plots with a total value of 180 million tenge have been returned through supervisory acts. Additionally, over 200 service apartments worth 400 million tenge have been returned to the state balance. These apartments will be provided to military personnel in need of housing.
