Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan committed to strengthening economic ties

Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, Daniyar Amanbayev, and the Minister of Energy of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali, held negotiations in Bishkek, emphasizing that the relations between the two countries are entering a new era of strengthened ties, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan announced.

Daniyar Amanbayev underscored Kyrgyzstan's commitment to developing comprehensive contacts with Pakistan, including strengthening business ties. Muhammad Ali highlighted the common historical, cultural, and spiritual connections, emphasizing the need to transform them into economic cooperation.

The main topics of the negotiations were issues on the economic agenda, including trade, energy, and the private sector. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the growth of mutual trade and discussed opportunities for its further expansion. Special attention was given to the "CASA-1000" project and the development of the renewable energy sector.

Additionally, the parties discussed issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and education. The meeting expressed hope for further strengthening and expanding bilateral relations, as well as confidence in the success of the upcoming intergovernmental meeting and business forum.
