The gross domestic product of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 96.8 billion soms, and the real growth rate was 110.6% (in January 2024 - 113.9%). This is stated in the preliminary assessment of the results of socio-economic development for January of this year by the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
In the sectors of the economy, the indicators are as follows: in construction, production volumes increased by 19.6%, in the service sector - by 12.6%, in industry - by 10.8%, in agriculture - by 1.8%.
In the structure of the country's nominal GDP, the share of industries producing goods amounted to 27.5%, and providing services - 52.3%.
In the production of a number of types of products, there was not an increase, but a decline. Thus, the volume of production of basic metals decreased compared to the same period last year by 8.3%, wood and paper products, printed products - by 4.4%.
