Following the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held in Bishkek on October 26, several documents were signed, the press service of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The signed documents include:
- Joint Communique on the outcomes of the twenty-second meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of SCO member states.
- Report of the SCO Secretariat on the activities and meetings conducted in the framework of the implementation of the Multilateral Trade and Economic Cooperation Program of SCO member states.
- SCO Financial Report on the execution of the budget for the year 2022.
- SCO Budget for the year 2024.
- Regulation on the financial support, guarantees, and compensation of the officials of the permanent SCO bodies.
- Decision on conducting an external audit of the financial and economic activities of the permanent SCO bodies.
- Action Plan for the implementation of the Concept of Interaction of Railway Administrations (Railways) of the SCO member states.
- Protocol on amendments to the Agreement on the procedure for the formation and execution of the SCO budget.
- Initiative to study the prospects for cooperation between the ministries and agencies of SCO member states responsible for foreign economic and foreign trade activities in the field of digital trade.
- Action Plan for holding the "Year of Ecology" of the SCO in 2024.
As a result of the meeting, Kyrgyzstan officially handed over the chairmanship of the SCO to Pakistan.
