Tajikistan's principled and constructive position towards Afghanistan, based on supporting the creation of an inclusive government with the participation of representatives of all nationalities and political groups in Afghanistan, drawing the attention and actions of the international community to address the tragic situation in the country, and adopting an effective and non-discriminatory approach to counterterrorism, remains unchanged. This was announced during a press conference by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Avesta reports.
He emphasized that Tajikistan's position reflects solidarity with Afghanistan on all international platforms, including providing humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan, facilitated through Tajikistan's logistical capabilities.
In this regard, on the direct instruction of the President of Tajikistan, more than 3000 tons of humanitarian aid were sent to the residents of Afghanistan affected by the earthquake.
