The high level of development of interstate relations between Turkmenistan and South Korea was noted at the talks in Seoul between the Government of the Republic of Korea and the delegation of the Government of Turkmenistan.
The parties exchanged views on promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation. Issues related to the increase in bilateral trade turnover were also discussed, Turkmenportal.tm reports.
The delegation of Turkmenistan is headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for construction, industry and electric power Baimyrat Annamammedov.
Turkmenistan is ready for further development of cooperation with the Republic of Korea in such important areas of the national economy as the fuel and energy complex, the chemical and textile industries, the transport and communications sector, as well as agriculture.
During the visit, separate meetings of the heads of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan with representatives of leading Korean companies and business circles were also held.
