Key negotiations on the development of cooperation in the fuel and energy complex (FEC) between representatives of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan took place in the capital of Turkmenistan. The Uzbek delegation was led by Minister of Energy J. Mirzamakhmudov, reports Turkmen TDH.
The parties conducted a comprehensive analysis of the current state of interaction in the energy sector and discussed promising directions for its expansion.
Special attention was given to exploring new opportunities for deepening the partnership between Ashgabat and Tashkent in the FEC.
Representatives of both countries emphasized their desire to elevate bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level. The process is planned to be based on principles of openness and mutual trust, while taking into account the national interests of each state.
The participants unanimously noted the strategic importance of the meetings for the further development of relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. It is expected that the results of these discussions will serve as a solid foundation for the implementation of joint projects in the energy sector and the strengthening of economic ties between the two countries.
