The missile attack by Iran on military infrastructure in Israel is causing neighboring countries to feel uneasy. Afghan media are publishing expert opinions predicting possible consequences of the conflict's escalation for the country, reports Eadaily.com.

Political analyst Moin Gul Samakni is confident that Israel will certainly take retaliatory measures:

"In any case, the first result will be that life for Afghan refugees in Iran will become difficult, forcing them to return to Afghanistan. Iranians may also flee to Afghanistan because they will not be able to live in a state of war," Samakni asserts.

Another political analyst, Said Akbar Sial Wardak, added: "Whenever war begins in the region, its consequences for neighboring countries, both politically and in other areas, are negative. The UN must take decisive steps to prevent this war and resolve the Middle East tension through negotiations."

As *TOLONews* reminds, on the night of October 1, Iran launched a massive missile attack on Israel following the death of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, former head of the Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniyeh, and several high-ranking Iranian military officials. Alongside Nasrallah's death, several Hezbollah members were also killed as a result of Israeli strikes in southern Beirut. Haniyeh was in Tehran at the time to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Masoud Pezeshkian.

Earlier, the "Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan" condemned Israel's airstrikes on Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Yemen, as well as the ground attack on Lebanon, calling them inhumane and violating all international laws.
