Kazakhstan is negotiating with 26 countries on the introduction of a mutual visa-free regime. Among them are Austria, Saudi Arabia, San Marino, Bahrain and other states, announced the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan.

The possibilities of expanding the list of countries whose citizens can apply for an electronic visa to Kazakhstan and the abolition of the requirement for an invitation are being explored. In addition, the issue of simplified issuance of visas for residents of the UAE is being discussed.

“Kazakhstan is interesting for foreign travelers and the ministry is working to fully reveal the tourism potential of our country. Including by increasing the flow of incoming tourists. Moreover, the ministry is already implementing mechanisms to improve migration control. For example, the eQonaq information system,” said ministry spokeswoman Moldir Abdualieva.
