Starting January 4, 2025, Kyrgyzstan will implement visa-free travel rules with six Gulf countries: Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.

Under these rules, tourists from these countries will be allowed to stay in Kyrgyzstan visa-free for up to 180 days within one calendar year.

However, for other purposes such as work or study, a visa will still be required.

This measure aims to boost tourism and enhance Kyrgyzstan’s investment and business appeal.

Currently, fully operational embassies of Saudi Arabia and Qatar are located in Bishkek, while the embassies of the other countries maintain only representations.
