Negotiations for the implementation of the strategic project to construct the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway are nearing completion, reports Railway Supply.
According to the source, the three countries - China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan - are actively finalizing the details for launching the project, which will become a crucial link in the region's transport infrastructure, connecting key economic zones.
The main contractor is China Railway, which will oversee the project's organization. Investments, as agreed, will be shared among the participating countries, but the bulk of the funding - $2.35 billion - will be provided by China. These funds will be allocated for constructing the railway and upgrading related infrastructure.
