President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reaffirmed his unwavering support for Turkmenistan’s peacekeeping initiatives. This statement was made in a letter addressed to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.
"Kazakhstan consistently supports Turkmenistan’s peacekeeping efforts and shares its commitment to open and constructive dialogue for the sake of universal peace and well-being," the message from the Kazakh leader states.
Earlier, it was reported that President Tokayev confirmed his participation in the International Forum on Peace and Trust, scheduled to take place on December 12 in Ashgabat.
The International Forum on Peace and Trust is set to be held at the level of heads of state and leaders of international organizations. The event is dedicated to the UN General Assembly's proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust, an initiative proposed by Turkmenistan, as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
"I am confident that the upcoming forum will serve as an important platform for exchanging views and developing practical solutions to pressing issues on the international agenda," President Tokayev emphasized.
