Uzbekistan maintains diverse relations with UAE

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with a delegation from the United Arab Emirates led by Minister of Cabinet Affairs Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Uza.uz reports.

Minister Al Gergawi conveyed greetings and best wishes from the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Prime Minister of the country, Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum, and Vice President Sheikh Mansur Al Nahyan to President Mirziyoyev.

After discussing the current issues on the bilateral agenda, the parties expressed satisfaction with the high dynamics of the development of Uzbek-Emirati relations. They highlighted the steady growth in the volume of trade turnover, the number of joint enterprises, and projects.

Joint programs within the adopted "roadmap" are successfully implemented, including those aimed at improving the efficiency of public administration, training managerial personnel, and developing e-government.

Approximately 1,000 seminars, forums, and training courses have been conducted, leading to the qualification improvement of around 2 million Uzbek specialists.

The meeting confirmed mutual interest in further expanding practical cooperation in areas such as effective management, trade potential development, urban infrastructure modernization, high technologies, artificial intelligence, and other directions.
