New State model ensures rotation of power In Kazakhstan - Tokayev

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at a meeting with the heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Astana touched upon the protection of human rights and the economy, Zakon.kz reports.

President Tokayev told the heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Kazakhstan about the implementation of large-scale reforms in various areas.

He noted: “We invariably follow the postulate “we are different, but we are equal.” He added that special efforts are being made to enhance the role of civil society, consolidate various social forces, and implement the principle of a “hearing state.”

He also stressed the irreversible nature of Kazakhstan's course towards consistent democratization and comprehensive social and political transformations.

According to him, the new model will ensure regular rotation of power and consolidate the further democratic development of modern Kazakhstani statehood.

Tokayev also emphasized that the new economic course adopted by Kazakhstan is aimed at building a truly free market economy. And he added that "demonopolization of the economy is our national priority."
