Turkmenistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, held a meeting with the head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) representative office in Turkmenistan, Eric Livny, reports Orient.tm.
During the meeting, the status of ongoing projects and the EBRD’s plans for financing new ones were discussed, as well as proposals for systematic work, including the preparation of a five-year EBRD strategy for Turkmenistan.
The parties also exchanged views on specific projects planned for implementation with the participation of public and private structures, including such areas as 'green' cities, water resources, and others, according to the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
