The Information Access Center (IAC) of Turkmenistan has been recognized as the best in 2024 according to the assessment by the National Information Society Agency (NIA) of the Republic of Korea, Turkmenportal reports.
The evaluation was conducted based on the performance in the previous year among similar centers operating in 56 countries worldwide, as reported by the publication "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
The awarding of the Best IAC Center Award 2024 is a high evaluation of the multifaceted work of Turkmenistan's IAC in promoting digitalization and advancing inclusive education in the country, in studying the Korean language, and introducing Turkmenistanis to Korean culture.
The NIA sent a letter to the Ashgabat IAC congratulating them on this outstanding achievement and inviting them to participate in the Information Access Center (IAC) administrator training program in 2024.
Representatives from 9 countries, including two employees of the Information Access Center of Turkmenistan, will participate in the training, which will take place from May 27 to June 7 this year at the National Information Society Agency office in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
The Information Access Center in Ashgabat, operating based on the Innovation and Information Center of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and equipped with modern equipment, was established in cooperation with the NIA of the Ministry of Science and ICT of the Republic of Korea.
