Representatives of the transport ministries of Uzbekistan and Mongolia held a meeting to discuss the development of international road transport and the creation of favorable conditions for national carriers, the press service of the Uzbek Ministry of Transport reports.
The parties reviewed the current state of road transport between Uzbekistan and Mongolia and prospects for its further development.
Participants noted that this sector has significant potential for enhancing cooperation between the two countries. They agreed to double the number of transport permit forms in 2025.
Additionally, the parties discussed the implementation of the interstate electronic permit exchange system, "E-Permit," to expedite the freight transportation process.
