Leading brands from Western countries, which had previously exited the Russian automobile market, are now actively considering the possibility of returning to Russia, stated Svetlana Volodina, the managing director of an international consulting firm, Pravda.ru reports.

This is not surprising, as per the expert's words, "these companies lost more than 30% of the Russian market, which previously brought them significant profits."

She also emphasized that there are cases where some Western automakers have shown interest in the possibility of returning to the Russian market through their partners in Kyrgyzstan, who have several dealership centers in Russia.

"Although it is clear that Kyrgyzstan itself does not have a high demand for such a quantity of cars," noted S. Volodina, "Western automotive companies can thus return to the Russian market through Kyrgyz dealers."

In 2023, more than 100 thousand cars from different countries of the world were delivered to Kyrgyzstan. Of these, more than 70% were then transported to Russia and other CIS countries.
