Industrial production in Tajikistan increased by 14.1%

DUSHANBE - The Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan reported an increase in industrial production in the country in January–March 2026, Avesta.tj reports.

According to official data, industrial output in the first quarter amounted to 16 billion somoni ($1.7 billion), a 14.1% increase compared to the same period last year.

The manufacturing industry contributed most to this growth, with output increasing by 29.6%. Positive dynamics were also noted in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning sectors, with growth of 7.5%.

Furthermore, the volume of water supply, waste treatment, and recycling services increased by 17%, further supporting the overall growth of the country's industrial sector.
