The Muzaffar Charitable Foundation has launched “Map of Help”, described as Tajikistan’s first digital charity platform, reported Asia-plus.tj.

The platform, available at muzaffar.tj, shows an interactive map of social institutions in need of support in GBAO, Sughd, Khatlon and the districts of republican subordination. They include homes for the elderly and people with disabilities and boarding schools for orphans and children without parental care.

Each institution has a profile with a description, contacts, and photos and videos showing its needs. A QR code on each profile lets donors transfer money directly to the chosen institution. Donors decide for themselves which institution and which needs to support. TechnoHub Dushanbe provided technical support free of charge.

The platform was presented at a round table in Dushanbe on cooperation in addressing social issues, attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and major companies. The foundation also presented “Oyanday Nek”, a programme supporting talented young people from vulnerable families, including savings for university tuition, internships and help with employment.

Five memoranda of cooperation were signed with Alif Bank, Lak-Lak, Leader Consulting, Sofia Clinic and Diamed Medical Center.
