Officials from Tajikistan and the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) discussed key aspects of economic cooperation and exchanged views on the "Trade Central Asia Plus" (TCCA+) initiative aimed at developing trade and strengthening financial capabilities in the Central Asian region, reports Avesta.
Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, Nuriddinzoda Akhliddin Nuriddin, emphasized the importance of partnership with the ITFC, noting that the corporation's support in trade financing helps strengthen the economy of Tajikistan and the entire region.
He also expressed gratitude for the ITFC's contribution to expanding Islamic financial capabilities, which opens up new opportunities for local businesses.
ITFC representatives discussed the progress of the TCCA+ initiative, presenting plans to support trade and simplify trade procedures. These measures are aimed at strengthening the trade system and enhancing the country’s export potential.
During the discussions, special attention was paid to compliance with international standards and the development of human potential. Following the meeting, both parties confirmed their readiness for further cooperation under the TCCA+ initiative. The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan expressed its openness to new initiatives aimed at the country’s economic development.
