DUSHANBE — The Academy of Public Administration under the President of Tajikistan held advanced training courses for deputy heads of regions overseeing the social sphere, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Karim Soliev led a session on combating human trafficking for the course participants. He noted that the key task is to coordinate the actions of all agencies within the framework of the National Plan for 2025–2027, Avesta.tj reports.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, over the past two years, a working group led by First Deputy Minister Abdurakhmon Alamshozoda has held a series of meetings across the country with the participation of government agencies, law enforcement officers, and the public. This work continues, including conferences and training seminars in the regions.
Course participants were informed about government measures and victim assistance mechanisms. Based on the training results, recommendations were developed to improve the effectiveness of the fight against this type of crime.
